Hey, friends! Today I’m sharing our simple and festive Christmas tablescape. The season is flying by so quickly! This week, I’ve been busy working on putting together gifts for our kids’ teachers as well as our friends and family. I’m one of those last-minute folks, finishing up our gifts with no time to spare.
Are you done with your Santa list? I’ve created a gift guide for HIM & HER if you are still looking for gift ideas.
With only a few days left until Christmas, we are looking forward to family traditions on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. What are your family’s favorite Christmas traditions? One of ours includes family gatherings on Christmas Day at the dining table, and every year, I look forward to styling our dining table for the holiday season.
This year, I’m styling our home for the holidays with a simple and minimalist focus while embracing the festive feel in every room. Check out our living room, kitchen, master bedroom and foyer decorated for the holidays!

Centerpieces
In our dining room, I’m keeping the decorations minimalistic with a palette that’s simple and neutral yet festive. I started with making the room feel airy by adding a white chiffon table runner on the dining table. I love how the chiffon table runner breaks up the wood from the dining table. It serves as an additional layer of texture on the table.

On top of the runner, I added a faux juniper garland to the table setting with a mix of cedar branches for a fuller look. There is always something very festive about adding greenery to any space during the holiday season.
I love to use a good mix of different greenery to bring in the Christmas spirit to any space. I found these small jars of faux junipers with berries, perfect as centerpieces for our dining area.

As the centerpiece, I added white taper candles to soften the table setting. I used vintage brass candle holders of different heights for a classic look and to add in more warm tones.

Plate Settings
I started with beaded dinner plates. I use these plates year-round as they are simple, classic and neutral. However, for each season of the year, I love to include seasonal dinnerware. For the Christmas season, I added simple Christmas appetizer plates on top of the beaded dinner plates. I love a variety of beaded glassware and dinnerware for drinking water and serving desserts. It adds a whimsical style to the table setting.

I picked out neutral white and gray linen napkins that I laid underneath each plate setting and I went with gold flatware to add a warm touch to our holiday tablescape.
I love these mini white Christmas trees that I added to the table. Did you notice I have Christmas trees in every decorated space for the holidays? Who else loves decorating with Christmas trees?

To finish it up, I couldn’t forget about adding the Christmas glow we all love. I use fairy lights throughout our home during the holidays and it was perfect to include it on our table setting as well. These LED fairy lights are timed and battery-operated, which means I can set them to turn on just in time for dinner.

I hope you enjoyed our simple and festive Christmas tablescape and find inspiration for your dining setting as you welcome your family and friends to gather together this season.
Thank you for stopping by!
