I’m so grateful this year to be participating in Giving unique gifts Tuesday . I’ve partnered with Boon Supply, an eco-conscious and community-focused company to bring awareness and support to a cause that is near and dear to my heart.

In 2018, I was diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that causes pain and inflammation to the body. Many people are able to manage their Lupus symptoms with medications, there is currently no cure for the disease. It has not been easy living with this disease and I’m grateful for the support and love that surrounds me everyday. In the past two years I have had to learn to live life one day at time and learn to know when to slow down because of my health.
Lupus took my health for a turn in 2019. I was in and out of the emergency room because Lupus had affected my kidney. I didn’t know how to process the news I received from the doctor that this disease could possibly take my life if I did not start treatment as soon as possible. During this time, I searched for a Lupus community to get answers and give me the strength to keep going. I’m so grateful for the Lupus community I’m a part of.
Therefore, in partnering with Boon Supply and selecting the charity of my choice, 40% of all the campaign proceeds will be donated to the Lupus Foundation of America to help with education, research and advocacy for those living with Lupus.
I’m excited to be able to share some unique gifts idea this Giving Tuesday from a wonderful company that gives back in a BIG way!
