December is here and the countdown has begun! With only 3 weeks left until Christmas, shopping for Christmas gifts for our favorite little humans is in full swing. December is particularly busy for me, with it being my toddler’s birthday this month and also my birthday.

Deciding what the best gift is for a kid of any age can be can be such a struggle. There are just so many choices and this is especially true for preschoolers. Between the age of 3-5, they are at an age where they need a constant rotation of entertainment and education from sun up to sun down.

2. Learning & Play Activities
When selecting the gifts for my little ones, I look for toys that can be used in different ways, which fosters learning and creativity. My kids are able to play with these toys. These toys also encourage and develop problem solving kids, creativeness and your kids can be imaginative while playing these types of toys.

3. Active Toys
We love our kids but I can’t lie that I don’t like for them to get exhausted during the day so that they can fall asleep faster at night. I think it’s good to have one or two active toys to increase their motor skills and serve as an outlet to release physical energy.
